G. ESSENTIAL OILS Options
The ancient use of Essential Oils
- Using Essential Oils is one of the most ancient of the healing arts known throughout history. Essential Oils were used in ancient Egypt, India and Rome: in baths, inhaled, ingested and placed on the body. Only certain Oils can be taken internally (swallowed) and usually in a highly diluted form.
- The average Essential Oil may contain 80–200 natural chemical constituents (not synthetic), each of which contributes to the overall benefit of the Oil to the body, emotions and mind.
- There is research documenting that most viruses, fungi and bacteria cannot live in the presence of certain Essential Oils like cinnamon, oregano and thyme.
- Because the fragrances of the Oils goes directly to the limbic brain, oils have a unique effect on the emotions, bringing a sense of calm, uplift and joy.
